North Memorial Walking Paths Welcome You To Holidazzle

North Memorial Clinics enjoyed a grand opening of their new location in downtown Minneapolis this past month, ensuring their long tradition of patient care in the Twin Cities area extends into the downtown area during a time of booming residential and entertainment growth.

And while they’re at it, North Memorial Clinics is also teaming with a longstanding downtown holiday tradition.

This winter, when you visit Holidazzle you will be entering through the Holidazzle Walking Paths supported by North Memorial Clinics. The pathways—which begin at the intersections of Grant Street and Willow Street, Maple Street and Harmon Place, and Hennepin Avenue/Lyndale Avenue and Oak Grove Street—will lead you into Holidazzle and help you enjoy this annual holiday get-together.

“Having recently opened a new clinic in downtown, North Memorial is proud to be part of the downtown community,” North Memorial President of Population Health & Ambulatory Services Kelly Macken-Marble said said. “We’re thrilled that Holidazzle allows us to engage and partner with our new community.”

Holidazzle runs from November 27 through December 20 on Thursdays through Sundays. You can stop by from 5 pm-9 pm on Thursdays and Fridays and 11 am-9 pm on Saturdays and Sundays to enjoy the holiday season and take part in an event that has entertainment, activities, foods, beverages and shopping for all ages.

North Memorial is also supporting the final two Holidazzle Holiday Movie Classics shown this year, including Home Alone at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 13 and Frozen at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 20. There is also a downtown skating rink located on site that is free and open to the public.

North Memorial, which has been providing care for nearly 60 years, is proud to be part of the celebration.

“The holidays are a special time among families and friends,” Macken-Marble said. “And at North, we consider this community our family, so we’re thrilled to be here. The holidays are also a time to reflect, and as we do, we realize all of our milestones, including a new clinic in downtown and Eden Prairie, and other system changes affecting our 2 hospitals, 14 other clinics, 2 urgent care clinics, 2 Urgency Centers and more. We’re grateful for the support and community we serve.”

Not only is North Memorial helping make Holidazzle possible this winter season, but they are also giving away four Holidazzle prize packs that are valued at $200. The prize packs include $150 Target or Macy’s gift card and another great merchandise item courtesy of North Memorial.

Then, be sure to come down to Holidazzle and enjoy the celebration throughout the holiday season.

“It’s a staple event for this city, and really all of Minnesota,” Macken-Marble said. “It’s a tradition that we look forward to and cherish.”

For North Memorial, it is also a way to give back as they enjoy their new downtown location. The downtown area has a booming residential population, and the business and entertainment communities continue to thrive. North Memorial is excited to join the community and provide top-notch healthcare to those in need.

“Holidazzle is a place to celebrate and enjoy all downtown Minneapolis has. But sometimes, our life can be interrupted by a health care need,” Macken-Marble said. “In these times, think of North Memorial’s downtown clinic, or any of our other 15 clinics throughout the metro.”

It’s the perfect time, Macken-Marble said, to become a part of the Holidazzle tradition.

“It’s quite fitting,” she said. “We’re honored to be part of this great city and look forward to providing the highest level of care, 24/7.”
