Mademoiselle Miel is one chocolatier you won’t be able to resist this holiday season. Honey, Harvested from rooftop beehives in downtown St. Paul is thoughtfully added to sweet treats like Honey Bon-bons and Honey Hot-coca Bombs. Focused on the benefits of local sweeteners, Mademoiselle Miel also crafts bean-to-bar chocolate sweetened with maple sugar.
After years of working with honey and maple in everyday desserts like pie and cake, owner Susan Brown progressed to French pastries and then finally chocolate. Mademoiselle Miel opened in 2011 and has proven to be one of the best. Having been awarded Top Ten Chocolatier in North America and featured in New York Times as well as many other local accolades, Holidazzle goers will be delighted with these award winning chocolates.

Susan’s been passionate about food, craftsmanship and health for as long as she can remember. Growing up in Colorado, but having lived in the Midwest for most of her adult life, she loves Minneapolis and the downtown atmosphere.
“Minnesota has a way of bringing people together during important times,” Susan said. “Many cultures and beliefs are united during the holidays, friends are made and new traditions established. It’s the warmest time of the year in many ways!”
When asked what Holidazzle means to her, Susan simply replied, “Fun, fun, fun.”
“I hope people will feel inspired to give thoughtfully, and feel relieved to find something so special in their home town,” she said.
