Minneapolis Community & Technical College Partners with Holidazzle to Provide Handy Parking

Minneapolis Community and Technical College is all about convenience. They’re located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, and their faculty is driven to help students achieve their goals. MCTC also borders Loring Park, home to Holidazzle.

Guests can park at MCTC’s parking ramp, located at 1420 Hennepin Avenue, for just $5 when heading to Holidazzle. And on Sundays? It’s free!

“We have the Upper Midwest’s keynote winter holiday festival right in our backyard,” MCTC Director of Marketing and Communication Geoffrey Jones says. “Holidazzle has an enviable tradition associated with it, and we’re proud to be a partner.”

MCTC has a long history in Minneapolis, too. The institution has been educating students for 103 years, first as Girls’ Vocational High School, then Minneapolis Community College, and since 1996, Minneapolis Community and Technical College. This past year, 12,326 students were enrolled at MCTC.

“Many are surprised to learn how many options MCTC has to enhance your future,” Jones explains. “We offer more than 80 programs of study, stellar faculty, spacious campus right on Loring Park, and support services to help you achieve your educational goals at an affordable cost.”

The vibrancy of downtown Minneapolis lends itself well to both MCTC and Holidazzle, making the partnership natural.

“Holidazzle is one of a kind,” Jones says. “It’s distinctly Minnesotan, in this beautiful setting of Loring Park. It’s also the entrepreneurial spirit that the vendors bring with their amazing variety of one-of-a-kind wares that makes Holidazzle what it is.”

“I enjoy that downtown is home to many key corporations, government, arts, businesses and destinations that rival any U.S. city,” Jones says. “MCTC is proud to be the only public higher educational institution that serves this vibrant downtown area.”

MCTC providing a cheap, convenient parking solution for Holidazzle visitors is just another way they are serving downtown Minneapolis and the region as a whole.

“Whether it’s a degree in a career-track program, or seamless transfer to a 4-year college, we’re here to get you there,” says Jones.
