Bring a donation to the Target Holidazzle Parade. You'll have two chances to give:
1. Before the parade, when volunteers walk the route collecting food and cash donations.
2. During the parade, when the Circus Train float chugs down Nicollet Mall.
What to give.
Monetary donations.
Nonperishable food: dry cereal, canned fruits and vegetables, soup, peanut butter, canned tuna or chicken, sugar, flour, rice, pasta, boxed meals and personal-care items.
New in 2011!
We've added a text to give option. Text "BITE" to 85944 to donate $10 to the Emergency Foodshelf Network. Ameriprise Financial will match donations up to $20,000, so a gift of $10 turns into $20 worth of food for Minnesota families in need.
Making a difference.
The 2011 goal is a combination of 20,000 dollars and pounds of food. Ameriprise Financial will once again match cash and food donations, up to $20,000.
Since 1998, the Ameriprise Financial Food and Cash drive has raised 436,907 dollars and pounds of food at the Target Holidazzle parades. That translates to meals for over 1.2 million people, many of them children.
